Fold our couch on 1990 Toyota Dolphin

Recommended Posts

All of the screws that hold the unit in are loose or completely out. How do I fix this? Do I need to unbolt the couch part, itself, from the frame, remove and then put new wood pieces in with the existing screws and put all back together? Can I do this myself?

Sherri, if you’re saying that all the mounting holes are stripped out so that the screws will no longer “bite” and hold, you might consider an epoxy product like this to fill holes. Once filled and cured, redrill small pilot holes, screw into those, and all should be much more secure.
