Dometic Referigerator problem, can it be fixed.

I have Dometic model # RM2410 two way referigerator in my Seebreeze. While trying to light the pilot the igniter nob stopped working. It was spring loaded and after strik the nob returns. But this time it did not. You can see it in the attached photo of the control panel. Therefore It does not strike again. I hope I am explaining it correctly.

The process of igniting the Pilot light is, you press and hold nob C while push and strike nob B and release. You can see if the pilot is lit in window A. 

 

I opened the control panel and noticed the rod #58 behind the nob B was very loose. Not understanding how it was put together, I closed the control panel back. 

 

Now I ask: is this a fixable problem or I start looking for a replacment.

It is stressing me out as I am planning to go on a long driving trip.

If I am understanding you correctly, the ignition button is not working properly. If that’s all it is then it is just a mechanical issue and should be fixed by taking it apart and replacing the spring, I can’t see on the spec sheet but it may have a rod from the button to the back of the fridge and the spring may be there.

looks alot like mine. #23 in your pic should be the ignitor.  here is info about disassembly for mine #13

I have had mine apart . no too hard working from the outside
