MaineJed
This has probably been talked about over and over but the issue I’m having with mine is not cooling, I only use it on shore power. Coils in the back are hot. Freezer maybe 50 degrees, fridge at 70 degrees. Zero gurgling, no ammonia smell. Went camping last weekend and it worked finest kind. Came home parked it, plugged in, and went in a few days went in and no cooling. Everything else works fine. The 1 thing that I did was moved it and blocked the tires to make sure it’s level after I found it not cooling. I’m going to check on it tomorrow morning and see if that works. MaineJed
Checked on the fridge this morning and not cooling, the freezer seems to be trying to keep cool but the fridge is at 70 degrees. Any suggestions? Maybe the cooling unit? I haven’t looked around to see how hard it would be to source parts for these old machines yet.
MaineJed
I took it out, the cooling unit is faltering. Parts are much too expensive for what it is. As much as I like having original equipment in my Toyota’s I’m going to just put a dorm fridge in and call it a day.
IdahoDoug
Probably for the best. Plus it will get you through the summer and perhaps you can find a replacement on sale over winter.
