Drove my 90 dolphin from Denver to a village called Tom Oklahoma to visit my buddy and watch the eclipse!

 

Aside from the initial failed road trip after picking it up, this was the first time actually RVing for me.

 

Im officially dubbing her the BMP (Banks Motor Pool) NotFast!

 

Long drive compounded by low speed definitely means any future trips will need to be MUCH better planned!

 

Nonetheless she got me there and home!

Sounds like a great first trip, and thanks for the cool pics! :)

 

Yeah, these rigs don't break down often (one BIG reason for the cult following), but you really have to allow a lot more travel time typically. I will road-trip a car for 10-12 hrs solid if I have to do so, but I limit our Toyota RV trips to ~6hrs/day, tops... which gets us about 330 miles or so with stops.
