Toyota Dolphin 1987 - Discontinued fuel gauge sending unit

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a fuel gauge sending unit, spare part number: 83320-39466

i can’t find it anywhere, it seems discontinued. Does anyone know what to do? Could another fuel gauge fit, even if it’s not the exact spare part number?

I am in Kingman, Arizona, heading to Mexico for a road trip.

thanks in advance

This says it is compatible with your vehicle even though the part number is different.

OEM TOYOTA 4RUNNER, PICKUP FUEL SENDING GAGE UNIT FITS SELECT 1986-1988 | eBay

If you want is exact, I know this seems out there but I know several people who ordered from this place in Dubai and got the parts shipped quickly for a very reasonable price. Discontinued in America doesn't mean discontinued everywhere.

Thank you Linda. I contacted the Ebay seller, but he says that this doesn't fit my VIN number. I then called Toyota and asked if this spare part number you gave me (83320-39705) would fit my 1987 Toyota Dolphin National RV, but they said they are not sure.

I also asked the Dubai company, but they said they don't have it on stock.

My VIN number is:

  • JT5RN75T5H0013192

Any other suggestions?

If not, I guess I would try fuel sending unit 83320-39705

Best

Dario

There are many older Toyota’s in Mexico. Maybe see if someone there might have the part you need.

No difference manual or auto and I did the search for only the 22re, no turbo.

I really couldn't think of how it could not fit. If anyone else here has some input, I'd like to hear it please

There are some very reasonably priced ones on eBay
