gringostar
I've had blowouts on the front tire and blowouts on a rear tire. I only carry a spare for the front tire, so If I have a blowout on the rear I have to limp the RV to a tire shop and have them swap the rims. It's usually a three hour ordeal. I believe 1986 Toyota trucks carried the spare under the truck with some kind of chain and pulley. Is that still there? If not, what do I need to do? WME
If yours is missing, then go to a wrecking yard and get one from a Toyota PU, don't forget the crank. This is what it looks like...https://www.ebay.com/itm/303800308069?hash=item46bbe8d165:g:oV4AAOSwa9NfztyR If the OEM didn't bugger things up, it is a simple bolt on. fred heath
Why not just carry a unmounted spare tire of the correct size. A lot less weight and no 6 lug spare wheel to deal with. Your more likely to puncture a tire than to blow it out.
