86Dolphino
My brother sent me this photo from online. Anyone have any experience doing this? I also wonder can the rear bumper support it and not be compromising to it?
90Warrior
Looking at the bumper and frame on my warrior, I don't think it would be sturdy enough to support the full weight of the camper on stabilizers without modification. However, I do have a trailer jack mounted to mine that when let down to touch helps keep the back end from being as bouncy. It's not used to support the camper past that, and its been on there for a long time with no ill effect ive noticed.
linda s
Stabilizers are never intended to hold the entire weight of the rear of your camper. The wheels are still on the ground so it's supported by springs and shocks. The stabilizer does just what it says, stabilizes and helps level. As long as your rear bumper is the welded on steel square tube, I'm sure it's strong enough. Linda S
86Dolphino
Seems like a great idea to me. I may give this a try. I figure it would help the rocking some.
