MaineJed
We are taking off for a few days next month to Vermont. We don’t have any plans other than to see the state. We want to head to Burlington to see the lake etc. Any recommendations for things to see on a 3 day trip? Thanks, MaineJed

ronsking
I went to Vermont 4 years ago and stayed here: http://www.lakechampagne.com/ Very nice with hookups & strong wi-fi. I went to the birthplace of Calvin Coolidge which is worthwhile to see. Neat little cheese factory there, too: https://www.nps.gov/nr/travel/presidents/calvin_coolidge_homestead.html
mustrmrk
We really liked Grout Pond National Forest Service campground at 207 Grout Pond Rd, Green Mountain NF, VT Lat 43.046074, Lon -72.952078 $16 / night ($8 with senior pass). No elec, no dump, nice trails.
