Vermont trip recommendations

We are taking off for a few days next month to Vermont. We don’t have any plans other than to see the state. We want to head to Burlington to see the lake etc. Any recommendations for things to see on a 3 day trip? Thanks, MaineJed

We really liked Grout Pond National Forest Service campground  at 207 Grout Pond Rd, Green Mountain NF, VT
