Hey guys!

for starters the question is about a 1987 Odyssey. This may sound like a dumb question, but the 120V outlets don't work in the cabin without shore power being plugged in. I kind of thought this was normal until I was reading about the fridge being able to use battery power. Does the fridge have a special circuit that will allow power to be pulled from the inverter? (I dont have a level surface for the camper to try it out at the moment) does this have something to do with the battery isolator, which from the looks of it needs replaced on my rig, or is my inverter not working?

Thanks all!

No the 110 circuits don't work without shore power or if you have a generator. If there is an inverter installed, not standard on these motorhomes, it will supply 110 for short intervals. Your power source is batteries 12 volt. That's the deal
