Escaper86 Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 I'm looking for something to replace the current LED bulbs that I have for my 1986 Escaper. They're the standard cheap option and they work well, but in my opinion the color of the light they give out is so intensely white and bright it makes me feel like I'm about to have surgery done on me. Preliminary research online shows some pretty insane price variation for anything that's outside of the 'Nurse, restrain the patient' style of bulb. Wondering if anyone has found an affordable and attractive option. Quote
Maineah Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Look at the "color temperature" The lower the number the softer the light (more yellow). The lower temp one will not be as bright and the higher one tend to be brighter and have more blue color to them. Quote
Ctgriffi Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 I don’t like bright, white light either, especially in a small RV coach where you’re trying to enjoy R&R. These have worked well for us over the past year (soft white version): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HRV73YK/ref=cm_sw_r_em_api_glt_fabc_X2FYH2QF4PTDAD5WM7E5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Quote
Escaper86 Posted March 10, 2021 Author Posted March 10, 2021 Perfect! Thanks for this! I'm going to order some of these: https://www.amazon.com/Generation-33-SMD-Reverse-10-Pack-6000K-6500K/dp/B07R5MCD62?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 I'll report back to say if they match what I'm looking for. Quote
