Cynxing
No going back now. The carpet is relaxing like a rumpled kleenex in a warm room. One question - between the seats where a "console" might be in a different kind of car, it gets very hot. The Custom Auto Carpet comes with some jute padding, but does anyone recommend Dynaliner or some other product sandwiched between the Dynamat and carpet for thermal protection? WME
Dynamat does a good job at blocking heat and noise. But for an cheap extra bit add a layer of Reflectix from a big box store. The hear sources are the transmission ad the converter. The transmission is under the console hump and the converter is under the driver. So a layer of Dynamat from the passenger side of the hump to the drivers door and as far up the drivers foot as you have mat. Then add the Reflectix from door to door. Then the carpet.
