toyohome1 Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 Hi! im new here and i am looking for the right side axle shaft for my one ton rear axle i just installed in my 1981 Toyota huntsman after i found out i had the bad axle. i had my uncle pic up an axle down in Texas and when i got it i noticed somebody had sheared off the studs on the hub and welded the axle shaft to the hub. Maineah Posted February 25, 2020 Share Posted February 25, 2020 Double trouble ya can't it apart without cutting the welds off so you are going to need a hub and axle. I'll give them credit for creative engineering. That thing does not have anywhere near the power to shear off the studs even if the speedo is pegged at 80 on ice and hit dry pavement that's pretty strange.
