Hey all, I have a 1985 Dolphin with 60,xxx miles that I've owned for a couple years and I put half of that mileage on. This rig has been the most reliable vehicle that I've owned and have driven it coast to coast 6 times. I am an experienced tradesman and I recently endeavored on some minor repairs. Well you can guess what happens next...I have totally gutted this vehicle to find that practically every popsicle stick they put it together with is going to need to be replaced, and I was hoping to elicit some inspiration from stories of recovery from the brink of death, or when it was finally time to put an end to a motorhome's suffering. By the way, it wouldn't ever go to the junkyard, it would be turned into a badass flatbed truck. If anyone has done the latter, have you had any issues registering the MH as a flat bed?

Hi all! I am tackling the water damage from a pipe vent leak in the Sunrader next week. Any advice on this is appreciated. Damage is in the cabinet above the fridge. I used silicone as a temporary fix on the roof, leaks have stopped. The goal is to clean the roof and reseal all points of entry once the interior water damage is repaired. Not interested in a full on demo / rebuild of my Sunrader interior; simply want to address the damage and mold in this one spot. Thanks guys!

I found the source of my mold smell. I guess I should have pulled the overhead cushion back further before buying my 1993 Seabreeze. I probably would have bought her anyway though. Here is what I can see. Window leaking under wall paper and dripping into the seam. Seam is mushy. The actual wall still feels solid, but the wallpaper is no longer adhered to the wall. Is there any way to put a stop to this without tearing anything out? I was thinking about caulking the window and caulking closed the smelly seam. Is this a bad idea? Does anyone know how much this might cost to have it professionally repaired or how difficult it would be to cut out the moldy part? Hopefully the part that needs to be removed, if any, is the bed under the cushion near the wall and not the wall itself. Thank you for any help!

I'm concerned about mold growing underneath the mattress in the over-cab area. There is this stuff http://www.hyperventmarine.com/index.html at $12 a linear foot but I was wondering if anyone has found a less expensive alternative? Thanks
