  2. Took my rig into a small shop for a new battery install in the coach. I got a call from them and I could hear them scratching their head over the phone. I rushed over there to see that they didn't label any of the wires when they took them off and now I am up a river with no paddles or air conditioning at the moment. It's 107° outside it's about 131° inside. I have a 3,000 watt inverter backup setup but it won't run the rooftop. I got a small air conditioner for my cat and I made him an igloo so I can keep him at about 75 to 80° but I am dying and on day three and I cannot find exact information anywhere online. I know black wire goes to positive white goes to negative red goes to positive I don't have any blue wire and I have two circuit breakers right next to each other there's a short red jumper wire connecting the bottom pins of those two breakers which is where I'm stumped I don't know if power from me converter goes into that in a series or power from the truck or power from the house. I can't get anything off my multi that gives me enough confidence to go ahead and wire it up. Is there anybody out there that has a 94 dolphin 900 wiring diagram? Please share this pass it on and help me out.
  3. Hello- Keep fixing problems, keep finding problems. But I am getting closer. Current problem- I bought a brand new marine battery for the coach, worked great but noticed the charge kept decreasing until now its dead (after spending two days at the mechanic getting some engine work done). So I figured the wires are connected properly to the engine battery but I don't know. Everything looks connected properly in the little battery box. I looked in the engine but I don't know what to look for or what should be connected to the battery. I noticed there is some device on the fire wall that has a wire coming out of it that goes nowhere. I've attached pics. I don't think this has to do with the coach battery but who know. Any insight on why my coach battery might now be holding its charge is greatly appreciated.
  4. I have a couple of questions regarding the charging process on the coach battery. I assume the coach battery is being charged as you are driving (?) but is the coach battery also being charged when plugged into shore power? If the coach battery IS being charged while on shore power, is the truck (starting) battery also being charged? If and when you need to replace a coach battery, do the newer "gel" type batteries have an advantage over the conventional "acid/water" filled batteries? Furthermore is a deep cycle battery preferred for a coach battery over a non deep cycle? Are deep cycle "gel " type batteries available? I am sure some of my questions have been answered before, thank you for your time. joe from dover
