  1. I saved my pennies and purchased a black fiamma awning that arrived today. 6 bolts and I have an awning! I had one of these on my Sportsmobile, they are the best, and with all the rain we get in the northwest it will come in handy. Also an awning that can roll into an inclosure will keep it mildew free. Save your pennies because they are not cheap, but a simple hand crank an it's open!
  2. Hi All! So my Sunrader came with an awning, however I can't for the life of me figure out how it works.... Can anyone help me/explain how in the heck it operates? I'm at a loss. Thanks!

    Awning

I am looking for an awning for my '91 SeaBreeze. It looks like it has a rail that can mount one, I just don't know what to get. Any help would be greatly apprecited.
  4. So it has been a while since I have done anything to the Toyota but I am back and come with good news. While I have been busy at school this semester, my Dad has surprised me and painted my Escaper. Before paint it was having some small rust issues, fading paint, and some fiberglass wearing through on the coach. He painted the body of the truck, the coach, bumper, rims, and window edges as well as completely redoing the window caulk. Here it is before paint. And here it is after. And finally we were able to install the awning I found at a scrap yard on an old Dolphin. It is in near perfect working condition. Getting ready to test fit. Mounting the brackets. And at the end of the day all is well and shiny. Looking out the window from inside of the rig. Everything went well and she now looks awesome if I do say so myself.
  5. Can someone please help with what parts to buy to fix awning is it a torsion spring? both legs have broke off brackets each one on outside spring arm ty Steve the sticker with model # is to faded to read
  6. If you have a roof rack on your rig some of the rack companies make retractable awnings that mount to their system. About the same price as other high end retractable awnings. Bag awnings are of course much less expensive. Here is one example from Thule http://youtu.be/AWLpYQ1T0OM
  7. What type of awning can I use in for my Itasca-spirit; there is an attachment point, like a gutter, no more than a 1/2 inch deep, it looks like you can push thru the end of the awning length wise for it to stay in place; it is like a rail with a channel that squeezes and holds the end business of the fabric.
