  1. I've been lurking in these forums for the last 3 years and thought it was time to introduce myself now that I have joined your ranks! 1987 Sunrader 210-RS 4 cycl (2.4L) 22RE Automatic Transmission It's somewhat rough with 200K miles but that gives me a lot of room to (eventually) customize, ...and the price was right. I found it in Arizona but need to take it to CA. I don't know if it will meet CA emissions because this one was built in Indiana(?). Nice bonus that it doesn't have the wraparound windows. I haven't had a chance to go through it good yet. I'm happy and excited!
  2. I found an 87 toyota four cylinder for 5500. I plan to travel the usa with it and my question is will I have problems going up hill with such a small engine. I will be traveling for a year, and doing my best to keep the weight down. Should I buy it or hold out for a v6? I'm not sure if I posted in the right spot but if anyone has driven one could you please help me. I really want it but do not want to get ahead of myself. Thank you!
  3. I have been shopping around for an affordable Toyota motorhome for a while now and recently found one for $1800. The only major issue I know of is the roof has been damaged due to the owner running into an overhang. I am pretty competent when it comes to doing repairs, so I feel like this is a repair I could potentially do myself. My question is what kind of other things do I need to look for/ask about before buying a motorhome (this will be my first motorhome purchase), and does this sound like a reasonable price to pay given the damage it has. As of right now the only other info I have on it is it has a rebuilt 22R fuel injector motor, and manual transmission. I still need to find out how many miles, and if it has a generator. Sorry if I missed any major points, but i'm relatively new to the motorhome world.
