  1. I do live in Oregon and am a refer expert Thanks for all the input and directions. Great stuff. Whew!! Iflyfishinrefermaddness
  2. I have discovered that the problem with my fridge was that I was not parked on the level. Blinding flash of the obvious! I want to use bubble levels that I can see from my driver's seat. I'd like to be able to see if the rig is level from my driver's seat. Anyone done this? Where did you put the bubble level(s)? Thanks, really appreciate this group. Iflyfishoffthebubble
  3. Nice pics and great name! We called our "87 Sunrader Casper. Iflyfishwithcasper
  4. You offer great help and it's appreciated!
  5. Well, good thing you can't see the egg on my face! Blinding flash of the obvious: 1. When plugged into power use the Electric mode 2. When on the road use 12V 3. When boondocking use either gas or 12V The bad news is if you use 12V when parked and plugged in, the fridge does not work. Then you think, darn! My fridge is broken! Flash! It isn't The good news is my fridge works great! Whew! Bullet dodged! Thanks for all the thoughtful posts. Iflyfishblindtotheobvious!
  6. We are looking at heading south from Portland this winter in our '87 Sunrader. We are looking for a campground with a swimming pool, close to a town and with a casino in the area as cherry on the top. We are looking at $6-800/month. Any recommendations? Ideas? Thanks, Iflyfishontheroadagain!
  7. Well, it looks like the fridge in my 1987 Sunrader has puked. Still produces some cold but at least a repair in the offing. It's the original fridge. I have searched the site to find out info on it and have come up blank. Any info on make/model of original? Thanks, Iflyfishwithapukedfridge
  8. Thanks. Headed North from S. Oregon. Appreciate the lead. This is going to be a challenge!
  9. I'm at a loss here as to how to repair this door handle. It fell apart and I lost parts on the road as the door swung open. Any ideas how to proceed? Currently on the road in S Oregon, whew! Finally! Thanks, Iflyfishwithoutadoornob
  10. Sorry, just got rid of them. Isadlyflyfish
  11. Here is the link to Amazon where I purchased the monitor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R6H6T37/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The sensors are attached to the valve stems. There are 190 + 4 star reviews of the monitor. I put valve extenders on the interior rear tires to ease install and tire filling. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084LC3ZH5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The tires are filled with Nitrogen but that is not necessary for the sensors. I had a Mercedes powered Winnebago View and blew an inside tire on a two lane road in Oakland California with cement barriers on each side. I vowed to never have that experience again! I purchased one of the early made units for about $375. This is the company truck in my driveway. GOMOBILE 971 533 0050. They are the real deal, honest and great to work with. Let them know I referred you please. Iflyfishwithnewtires
  12. They have warehoused tires to support their national franchises. This is a relatively new business model. Great people to work with. They are also installing my tire pressure/temp monitor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R6H6T37/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and my valve extender https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084LC3ZH5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There is a small flange that needs to be attached to an axle to attach the extenders.
  13. Thanks Linda, I appreciate your due diligence. Roadian ct8 8ply load range D. They have 499+ available in their warehouse.

  16. I just hired these Gomobile to replace my six tires on my '87 Sunrader. New tires, balanced, filled with nitrogen and installed $675! Just wanted to let people know this is an option, at least here in Oregon. Iflyfishwithtires
  17. I have an '87 21' rear bath Sunrader. There are two kinds of blinds, venetian blind over sink and door and cloth for the larger windows. I am looking at replacing the blinds. Anyone done this? Have any ideas for sources? Thanks, Iflyfishwithblindsopen
