for those at rv and take pets. what do you with pets when you go canoeing or what ever and cannot take the pet? we were planning a trip out and checking on campgrounds and notice most places state you can not leave the pet in rv for any amount of time. so does that not defeat the purpose of rving with pets? I can see half a day or longer being an issue but a couple of hours? now I am thinking of selling it before the first trip as that was the reason we got one so we can take pets with us. thanks

My Next Motorhome Looks Sharp
jack-ramblin replied to jack-ramblin's topic in Miscellaneous & Non-related
well its got 1 less cylinder than current rig so it hasta use less fuel -
well after seeing this and making a few calls think next year my new home on wheels will be this. I just hope they offer it without the slides. looks sharp, functional and should get realistically better mpgs with plenty of power, plus it can tow something. http://winnebagoind.com/products/class-c/2016/fuse/overview

Opinions On Apples-To-Apples Dolphin V6 Prices
jack-ramblin replied to rmarcil's topic in General Discussion
yea I have yet to get into the teens with mpg even doing 55 but maybe if I pull in the cement deck it will get there. on topic sounds about right as for what they go for and either coast is usually higher. -
thats what I thought. so you can add a generator to it to run down the road. thanks

is there any way to use the roof air while going down the highway? or are these dolpins not equipped to do that. thanks
-
yea went to oreillys and selected every v6 toyota till it showed round ones. do not see how rodents can get in that as it is really thick and jammed packed.has to be the largest air filter I have ever seen. went with the fram in case someone on the future may need the info. FRAM Extra Guard - Air Filter Part # CA4939thanks for the help

thanks for the info.did not know they were addons. these are the ones I am looking at as per other thread http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=19781 seems others have used them with good results. yea I am going to test for a leak as I just put 52#'s of air in both and will drive it and see what happens then spray it but will probably just get new this way I know they are up to snuff to begin with instead of try to locate parts for existing set. thanks again

I have a 93/94 dolphin and seems my air springs are not holding air. whats the hazard of travelling with it like this? it rides ok just when bumps are hit it sounds like it is bottoming. I see a few recommend the air lifts and no one has the model # needed around here. I can order from a link someone posted for 325.00 which I am probably going to do . but just curious if I can go 800 miles first or just to be safe put them on asap. thanks

well looked around the storage battery and power box and no loose or hanging wires or cutoffs. looked around the panel no wires going near it so they must be under it and did not see where it was connected to the roof. so I am at a loss of where and what it does tho obviously nothing at the moment. thanks
-
maybe 12x24 will have to recheck for sure.wires must be routed under it as there is nothing close to it and I do not see any connections or anything in the coach itself. would it route down to the coach battery or power center? thanks for any more info. jack

I just acquired a 94 dolphin and it has a solar panel on the roof. but the previous owner had no clue as to where it comes and goes from. any one have a dolphin with the factory solar? or any one know how it can be tested or where it comes and goes to. total newbie at this and it is first home ever had. thanks for any info.
