  1. for those at rv and take pets. what do you with pets when you go canoeing or what ever and cannot take the pet? we were planning a trip out and checking on campgrounds and notice most places state you can not leave the pet in rv for any amount of time. so does that not defeat the purpose of rving with pets? I can see half a day or longer being an issue but a couple of hours? now I am thinking of selling it before the first trip as that was the reason we got one so we can take pets with us. thanks
  2. well its got 1 less cylinder than current rig so it hasta use less fuel
  3. well after seeing this and making a few calls think next year my new home on wheels will be this. I just hope they offer it without the slides. looks sharp, functional and should get realistically better mpgs with plenty of power, plus it can tow something. http://winnebagoind.com/products/class-c/2016/fuse/overview
  4. I looked at the headgasket recall and all I saw was up to 1990. did not see anything for newer. may have to read it again as I have a 93 also.
  5. do not know if already linked but I came across service manual for 93 toyota pickups .may help some maybe old news. covers all systems cept the motor home part. http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-buchanan/93fsm/
  6. just get a larger tank ,mine has a 25 gallon tank and it is a 93 they said they had a larger one put in and we filled it 24.xx not that long ago. so it is possible to find a larger tank.
  7. there is a 83 sunrader on craigslist in n il area no connection to it ,just thought some one may be interested as they are few and far between in this area.sorry if in wrong area http://desmoines.craigslist.org/rvs/5213293769.html
  8. yea I have yet to get into the teens with mpg even doing 55 but maybe if I pull in the cement deck it will get there. on topic sounds about right as for what they go for and either coast is usually higher.
  9. thats what I thought. so you can add a generator to it to run down the road. thanks
  10. is there any way to use the roof air while going down the highway? or are these dolpins not equipped to do that. thanks
  11. dolphin overdrive do you use it or just leave it off? any benefit ? I guess in the flat it might be ok but it seems to constantly down shift at the slightest incline. any one notice more mpg or less? thanks
  12. is that a massey 202 in the background. yea that is chock full. have not fully explored mine yet but it seems to not have very much open to get in this filter.
  13. yea went to oreillys and selected every v6 toyota till it showed round ones. do not see how rodents can get in that as it is really thick and jammed packed.has to be the largest air filter I have ever seen. went with the fram in case someone on the future may need the info. FRAM Extra Guard - Air Filter Part # CA4939thanks for the help
  14. the fun continues.. picked up an air filter for the dolphin got home and ok not a rectangle just a big round one that is fairly thick.went back and selected all the ones for a 93 v6 and no round ones. any one have a part # that works.
  15. thanks for the info.did not know they were addons. these are the ones I am looking at as per other thread http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=19781 seems others have used them with good results. yea I am going to test for a leak as I just put 52#'s of air in both and will drive it and see what happens then spray it but will probably just get new this way I know they are up to snuff to begin with instead of try to locate parts for existing set. thanks again
