  1. Sea Foam from walmart. Best $8 you can spend. Also, 5 ounces in the crankcase 200-300 miles before an oil change has cut my oil burning by 50%, that was just 1 time! You can read for years about this stuff.
  2. I left Abq. Last September 7 trying to stay in nice temps. Its not as easy as it sounds but I have not been hot or freezing in 10 months and 11 states while travelling about 4,000 miles! But the best thing is I only have to discover my favorite temperature places 1 time, next year will be a lot easier! Basically south in winter, north in summer.
  3. If you can afford it, just go with Verizon unlimited, I have a dumb phone and unlimited internet (36GB actually) for $149 per month. I have always had internet except for 2 places in the last 5,000 miles including NM, OK, TX, AZ, CA, and NV They started throttling me at 36GB which is a lot of data and 11 movies.
  4. I had mine done 2 yrs ago and did notice a little bit smoother, etc. Had never checked the mileage before but am now on the road and averaging 16 mpg on the road. 13 city. 17.55 putting around at 20-35 mph.
  5. I bought a Honeywell programmable for like $26 at Walmart, set up the programs for morning and nite, etc. Nice to have it warm in here when I get up! Of course after I bought it about 4 months later the furnace crapped out. Changed the control board $72, that worked for 6 weeks and it wouldn't lite again. Ordered a sail switch and just got it changed this morning, now it seems to running fine again.
  6. My 1993 started doing the same thing last winter, I took a stick (3/4" square) and tapped really briskly all around the electronics box. Started working for 2 weeks, then it it quit igniting again. A few more healthy taps got it going again. Sure I need to replace the board. Dana
  7. http://santafe.craigslist.org/rvs/5244902543.html one of a kind for sure. Dana
  8. I don't know! House was built in 1958 and has only 60 amp service. It has only has 8 circuit breakers. Dana
  9. I have the same unit on my 1993. Plugged in to house 15amp and am running a/c, 2 fridges, computer, radio, charging iPads, etc. Monday it was 105.5 here in Abq. and the inside temp got to 90 degress. The rest of the week I was able to maintain 84 deg. I also bought one of those windshield reflectex things and duct taped it onto the top of the a/c. Dana
  10. Just putting this out there. Dana http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/rvs/5080159863.html

  12. I bet thats the ones I have. 15 x 15 on the inside. Didn't get time to pull the cover off today. SNOWING off and on here and 36 degrees. Dana
  13. Has anybody installed one of these into a 1993 Winnebago Itasca Spirit? http://www.amazon.com/Fan-Tastic-801250-RV-Roof-Vent/dp/B00IKMWQMK/ref=dp_ob_title_auto. I have a really cheap fan in the rear that measures 15" x 15" OD on the inside. Here is a pic of it from the top Thanks in advance, Dana
