  1. My wife Jacki and I live in SLO on the Central Coast just 13 miles from MB. Would love to meet other Toyota MH owners. We have a 1982 21' Sunrader. We just completed a 4 month cross Canada trip and returned thru the central US to California. We've had our rv 6 years this December and love being on the road with it. We were in touch with two women who each have a Toyota MH and would like to plan a trip down into Baja sometime in January 2019. Paul & Jacki on the Dragonfly.
  2. We have a 1982 21' Sunrader and we carry a 1968 Honda Trail 90 on the back bumper, a 50 pound generator under the bed and we go over 9,000+ foot passes. We try to pick back roads whenever possible and travel when we think there might be less traffic (early morning). We do what we can but it is not unusual to get down into first gear for awhile. We pull over a lot to let others by. It is slow going but put on your hazard lights when going uphill and people will deal with it. There is the occasional jerk though. Paul & Jacki on the Dragonfly
  3. I had the same problem with my '82 Sunrader with the Wedgewood range/oven. It turned out to be the thermocoupler, which looks like a 4-inch copper round bar about a 1/4-inch in diameter had come loose from over the pilot light. It needs to be placed with a clip so it is being heated by the pilot light. Then when the sensor tells the gas valve that there is indeed a flame your main burner should come on when you adjust the knob from "low temp" to whatever higher temp you set it on. I thought my thermocoupler was a temperature sensor (which it is) for the temperature of the oven, not the indicator for the gas to come on in the main burner. Hope this helps.
