I've been following you since I bought this chinook 3 years ago and you seem to know exactly why to do in every situation. I need a tranny for a 78 chinook. I have seen some of your posts about the w50 being the easy way with a lower rpm in first gear I don't want that I need a 1st that will start up hill decent. And I'd like a 5 th. My question is what tranny do I want and what does it come out of, I know the w 50 were out of  Celicas I think is it the w59 I want and what year of car an make does it come out of? Any help would be appreciated . I'm working out of town an my tranny just started making some noise so hopefully I can limp it home and get it to my shop and find one in the junk yard
