  1. I have the 17x 24 and forgive the ignorance but PPL?
  2. An unfortunate set of circumstances to be sure. Was working on the roof of my coach and accidentally put my hand through the emergency hatch. Does anyone know where i can order a new one? I have heard varying things about making sure i get a certain part(s) to go with it? Can anyone please help me out and point me in the right direction? I want my girl to be 100 % again Thanks for any and all input as usual. This group has always given me sound advice. -T
  3. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks everyone for the info.
  4. Hello all! Been a while since i have posted. Been having a blast in my ole' girl. She handled a season of being a "ski-in, ski-out" mobile up at the mountain. I am in the middle of trying to sketch out logistics of shipping her back home to Hawaii. I had a dream about making this a "surf-in, surf-out" RV. Does anyone have any experience/ideas doing this? Even when i lived back home (about 12 yrs ago) i don't remember seeing any RV's. I am hoping the 21 foot Dolphin will be small enough to not be hassled. Maui is the intended destination. Any info and or comments would be great. Thanks as always!
  5. sorry to hear that maybe auto yards used to live in deming miss Whatcum county

  6. some jerk hit and ran my 85 Dolphin. Took out my side indicator for my passenger side turn signal, any idea where i can find replacements?

  7. should be able to find photos of my project in this section of the forums. I spent all of last winter as a ski bum in the parking lot at a local ski area. This was one of the first things that i did upon finishing out the season. I swear by the convenience of mine. I have not experienced any of the issues you seem to be worried about. Also, you couldn't get anymore cheap than i did mine for. It is not even genuine Pergo and i couldn't be happier Hope this helps.
  8. I am Hawaiian born and raised. Spam is the most versatile, awesome food on earth. Spam and rice, spam and eggs, spam musubi's. God, now i am hungry
  9. Thanks for the idea! I have been meaning to implement you're awesome idea for a while now. Finally got around to her today and she looks great! The dowel cost me nothing, as it was excess from a previous project. The project literally cost $1. That's what the actual dowel holders were priced at my local hardware store. Down with Home Depot!
  10. Cut the carpet along the edges. Take care not to scuff or scrape the wood. Depending on the condition of you're carpet, it could be a lil easier to get up. Mine was a bit of a nightmare. So many staples after you remove the carpet! Don't worry about them. Just remove excess bits of carpet from the staples. I then used Killz on all the exposed wood and let that dry. After the Killz dried, I used foam underlayment (which cost as much the deal i got on flooring ~$25). After that I started laying the laminate flooring and voila! Be careful, around the vents can be a nightmare and good luck
  11. Larrabee is like 5 mins from my house. What a wonderful way to christen the RV. Great pics
  12. Join both groups! The information and people that you will meet through these groups will prove to be invaluable. I consult both daily and am amazed at the sheer breadth of information available. It really does take a lot of the intimidation out of it. Congrats on the purchase! Nothing better than RV'n.
  13. Photos finally posted http://www.flickr.com/photos/9889548@N05/sets/72157626479064392/
  14. that is such a great idea for the cabover window. This whole section of my RV could use a replacement. The caulking on the outside looks like someone applied it with a shotgun. The window also leaks a trace amount of moisture. Pulling the window and fiber glassing over the area is an idea that I had not even considered. Looks nice, great job!
