I have the part number and it is no longer available. I have been searching all over the web. So, I think my next move is to find a gas gauge that will fit in the fuel tank from another year of toyota, or other. All I need to make sure is that the correct ohm from the stock electrical. THen I will mount an external fuel pump on the frame. Now all I need is the directions?

Well, I got the correct part number from the toyota dealer, but there are non available (been discontinued). Other than replacing the whole tank with a new pump and gas gauge system, anyone know of a source for old fuel pumps?

I just picked up a 1979 Dolphin and need to replace the fuel pump in the rear gas tank. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks, jon
