if not 4 whell drive no transfercase transemission only is it auto or stick

since i have the only other minmax known to be runing is that frige a instamatic gasmatic that is what myn was burned good but had bad amonia leak that thermocouple is not expensev none of the eletric worked on ours i just bit the bullet got a new norcold 323t fits ok price not ok 60045 online but work nice that company out ov buss but themocouples are sold as universal replacments my old unit not fixable

you guys a re right on those selond contacts are a problem i have changed them and clean plunger on the 197879 they also use a drict drive starter toyota oem i replace with that always shoup here auto eletric said i can put one on my 22re 4wd pu i never thought you could on newer ones just put new dirict drive starter on my 1978 minimax put on 1977 station wagen 20 r 15000o miles no problem if you can put that on way way better 1970s came ether way iwill put on pu if i can

If the tanks are abs like black drain abs type plastic i have fixed those abs junk plastic whell covers tabs never came off agin black abs pipe glue used on a car grill also i also made my own dump valve extender same pipe same glue needs to be dry no wet that link looks like asom good stuff thanks

there is still a shop here in my town that rebuildes spedometers for people who restore old cars trucks etc etc

i have a 1978 20r minimax have had 1978 2wd pu and staion wagen all20r some of those direct from japan replacement moters are 21 r never used here as new irecmend replace voltage regulator also and yes oil pressure switches is down by oil filter it was also wired throug eletric fuel pump to confirm oil press to protec moter i mould conferm your oil pressure with a gage as you are new to unit there are no cam bering inserts in the head bad oil pressure you will buy a head in those days the fact toyota books where all seperat i have mine for the 20r more for diff body and eletric they used the 20r in pu and celica and corona cars moter all same after 1978 a mechinal fuel pump on left side of head

we dont live in a test area here some have removed converter cleaned out all honey comb and bolt back on worked good not loud no back presure i once had a muffler fell apart inside and blocked off the outlet

i dont know that you have a hdrlic problem did you check the small master cyclinder for the clutch under the hood next to the brake cyclinder if you have a leak and that is empty you will not be able to shift it if it is empty check under dash for brake fluid leake from master if leak replace master cyl the clutch throwout arm on the trans is opperated by a slave cylinder ether of these leak the clutch will not work is that a 4 speed i did have a station wagen 1977 5 speed the end of the maine shift rod broke off and fell down in the bottom of the trans had to remove back of trans and put in new shift rod i do not know if the 4 speeds had that problem and yes the lever felt lose flopy hope i help you

out here in the west Les Schwab IS so big over 400 stores but only in the west they often sell tires with their own company name on them such as wild cat or wildcountry these are two of their truck tires i run on 4wd toyota pu i would run the thunderer on my moterhome they stand behind what they sell i also have 4 of their batteries these may be just a name they use i run their tire called eclipse on our car

Like Maineah i go with napa or carquest we have Autozone and Oreilly here but i never go there i have in the past autozone muffler hangers looked like coat hanger wire compared to car quest hangers very heavy built also around here car quest and napa are much more profesanely run

those half round rubb er things go on the head front and back ends of the cam the old ones get hard and are prone to leaking did you save the metal washers that go on top of those hold down washers if you did not change those cam plugs they will leak make shure they stay in place when you put the cover on

i would replace the tank a tank that bad is not safe to use at all i do not know if you have a stock truck tank or not i have a truck also a moter home toyota truck manual says stock tank is 19 gallons if you have a stock tank you could probly get one from a wrecking yard the long box 2wd or the 4wd would probly work the short box or large cab use little smaller tank other wise there maybe some after market tanks that will work hope this helps get rid of a tank that bad saftey hasard

I am with Derek in generators you get what you pay for i have a little 1200 watt 2 cycle china unit bought at shucks auto 2 years ago for 130 dollors we go back country it doues what i need guy asked me once is that a honda said no you can buy 2 or 3 of those for what one honda cost but the honda s are nice but if you cant aford it or dont need it you can get one for a lot less

When it comes to water pumps if you buy on ebay is brand new or rebuilt i would onely use new notrebuilt ibuy car quest or napa i like to look at it before i buy

should be no struts on all the trucks and some cars back then a frame and coil spring convential shocks it would be good to know if that is the 20r moter i can not rember when that came out 20r moter very good have had three also they used 20r in several cars the older 18rc not as good owend 5 toyotas

after thinking it over i dont rember ever hearing anything bad about the autos and a welcome to all the new people
