all i can tell you is my son had a 1986 22re fuel injected long bed 4wd pickup not a moterhome but was a good pickup he just decided he wanted a four runner instead they made both the carb and the efi version at least to 1988 as i myself have had 1987 carb and22re fuel injection 4wd pu my moter home is the older 20r and yes the efi 1986 has the pump in the tankeven some of the carb 20r 1975 to 1978 havepump in the tank after 1978 the carbs went back to mechical pumps on the moter i myself or family has never had to replace one of the fuel pumps on any toyota running out of gas is what dameges eletric pumps

The webber has a good reliable repution i have a webber on my 1978 20r minimax i also had a webber on a 1974 datsun b 210 if you look on the yota tec site mabe yoda i dont remmber you should find more info the carb dealer should setyou up with the right jets and manofold addapter if needed and the air filter on all 1970 era datsuns that was the only answer as the hitache or suckotache carbs all junk is that the one that set a long time you would need a complete redo all the toyota carbs seem to have been pretty good i did do some work on some older toyota carbs if your not in a smog test area the webber is good to consider

looked at my 1988 4wd pickup says SR5 right on tailgate

ASKfor a second opinon but if you really want to clean the metal you might use mek a very power full solvent you would need a res perator but mek will take all glue and gunk off does not evaporate as fast as acetone wear gloves also known as methel ethel ketone

great to here injoy i dont think you would gain the four is geared good on the low end just came back 20 miles off the pavement the last half milelow gear all the way my 1978 20r sound like old time truck growl ing up the hill 1984 dolfphen 22r behind me same way four speed geared good i have a 1988 4wd pickup also only use fifth at 50 or more these things wind up a little good low end power the carb 22r and the fuel injected 22re are very close the same the carb way easer to worke on less to have trouble with just rember like they say on here fast they arnt on a hill

Are you shure you dont mean a valve adjust ment i have done new moters and adjust agin at 30000 these do not have hydrilc lifters as they seat into the head they change the book calls for them to be set hot kind of a miserable but you get use to it and the hotter the better also you could have not enough clerance will in time burn the valve and seats i would check clerance before doing anything else they have screws on the rocker arms ps as they seat in the clerance incress can run rough

i wonder if you have a hot starter problem solend clicking see the post on eletrical forem under not tu rning over problematic solend contacks not exspensive not hard to change

did you blow out every thing or put antifreze in last winter checks under sinks tolits soory but can be freze damage in wall behind shower i had friend forgot to winterize next spring water spray out of every where tolit broke all up still somtimes fittings work lose hope you get it ok

from the side yiew of the accelerator pump that is the squre thing on the right the fuel cut off solend valve is a round part on the left it screws in and has wires on it i had forgoten there is also a secondry accelerator pump it is round held on by three screws iwould check both accelerator pumps those diahframs are probly hard the aux one can be troublesome even in regular use i have had to replace the diafram bad acc pumps can effect idle take vac hose off acc one if gas leaks out get new diafram on the old 20 r itook the plunger out of fuel cut off solend and put on not working i ran that way long timemight disel i dont know if you can do that on later ones i was looking at my 1987 factory book had 1987carb only year and half rear ended i have 1 987 efi have had 3 20r carb car and2wd pu 1978 moterhome toyota carbs good

the hose hookup you use in a full hookup camp use a pressure reducer on the fawcet before the hose good to pressare test all plumbing at home the other thing is the waterfill for the tank some have fancy gauges for the tanks myn has none i just fill up tell it wont take any more turn on pump flush it all out you can get an adapter screw on hose to stick in water fill makes easer my tank is clear i lift up the seat check level with a flashlight after you flush out some people put a little bleach in to disinfect the system then flush out allsystem the real small friges light frm outside with a push button ingter

sorry no inside pict the table is made of alumium it has a bracket riveted on fitted down over inside and outside of window ledge i need too make adjustable legs for the outside have two old tent poles will use for that this is the second time we used this the unit must be tilted back a little to allow water to drain i paid 125 for the unit way less than roof air i dont plug in my out lets just run an xta cord to the pedistal only 115 volts put a small fan behind front seats blows to the back good

Derek up North you are right on very good use those on my 1988 4wd toyota pickup low beam 55 watts highbeam65 watts stock halogen are often 35 watts on low 45 to maybe55 watts on high silver star much much briter my moter home takes round only 1978 had one halgen one old incandect all four junk so old all the silver had fell off the inside worthless i am close to 60 i need more light i put on all new halogen what a differance that night i missed a huge truck tire cap laying across the freway lane

i have seen and worked on other makes that when the distributor got heated up after some time running the transtirs inside would open circuit kill the enguine than after it sat and cooled down in one case an hour then it would start and stay running for a while a friends wagoner was doing that and that was the problem i cant be certain in your case look to see you get all fixed also be ware brakes that set a long time most always start to leake my first car set nine years without being touched
