  1. Thank you so much LInda, you are always so helpful.
  2. I am looking for a metal replacement handle (& mounting bracket). This is for my Sunrader Pod. I'm in Sacramento & can do Venmo or Paypal. I doubt after market replacements were ever made but if anyone knows of one please let me know...
  3. I've been unable to use my bathroom sink due to a leak that is under AND behind the fiberglass partition between the shower and the bath sink. There isn't any access under or behind the partition. Will the sink have to be disconnected & entire fiberglass partition have to be removed? Has anyone had any experience repairing this problem? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  4. My newly manufactured replacement driver side plexiglass window was installed yesterday into my '89 Sunrader and fit well, it needed a little shaving (1/4") on one side but the window installer said it was an exact fit to the stock window. My window manufacturer will correct the size difference in his mold. I am going to have him make a passenger side mold as well. I am going to sell for $350 per side. These will fit all Sunraders with the exception of the earlier, larger models. I can make those too but you need to send me the originals. Broken is fine as long as we can piece together for sizing purposes.
  5. Whatever the size differences, the manufacturer said they can still replicate if there is enough window (even in pieces) to get dimensions from. We'd have to have the window(s) being replaced.
  6. The new manufactured window is being installed this week into my Sunrader so I'll know whether it's a good enough fit to recommend and start selling here. It looks spot on to the original and the bend radius to my eye looks exactly the same. At this point, I've only had the driver side manufactured but I can also make the passenger side. My manufacturer believes that all the original wraparound windows were cut from a standard template so he assumes all of the windows manufactured were the same for all of the Toyota and Nissan Sunraders. It makes sense because the templates for the shell cutouts would have been easier to mass produce as well but I'm just not sure yet. Does anyone know for sure whether all the Sunraders used the same size?
  7. I'm looking for a replacement for my 89 Sunrader driver side plexi smoked window. I know there was a guy awhile back that operated under MaxxFabrication but his company dissapeared. I also left a message with Advantage RV in Napa since I read online that they may have them but I was hoping that someone here may have a current lead on a window replacement. I'm talking to a boat windshield fabricator here in Sacramento who maybe able to do it and my last choice would be Tap Plastics. Help!
  8. At the end of a trip, at the cleanout station, I've been considering running a hose from the sink to the toilet and draining all the fresh water out thru the toilet, holding the toilet open of course and leaving the black water drain valve open.....anybody see a problem with this? It certainly makes sense if you're trying to clean out your tank, which alot of people seem to want to do.
  9. Take your time, took me a year to find my Sunrader. Found it one Saturday morning on Craigslist. Prices will vary depending on mileage and condition, just like a car...mine was priced fair for a 60K mile vehicle.....but they absolutely hold their value well if you keep it in good condition. My main suggestion is once you narrow down to a few, take your time to check out everything. Try each plug, have the owner cool down the frig, turn on the heater, A/C roof unit. Pour some water down each drain, look for leaks, use a hose on the windows and roof.Feel for saggy, soft floors. A set of tires will cost you over $1K so make sure they're in good shape...make a checklist and follow it......good luck! They are great fun and this is a good site for support.
  10. The screw on collar detached from the bottom of my shower drain and my grey water now leaks directly to the ground. Simple fix, right? I tried screwing it back on but I found that the collar was cracked. Lovely. So I removed the plumbing which comprised of the J trap (to the holding tank) and a straight line (to the bottom of the shower drain). As I said, one end screws directly to the drain % sure since I initially found it detached. The two screw on collars, the J trap and the straight pipe are all one piece. Both collars point upward and can not be removed. Great, now I have to replace the entire component. I went to Home Depot and the guy told me that they didn't have anything 1 1/4" ABS piping like it. Because of the smaller size, is this plumbing something I can only get from RV suppliers? Is it a common drain pipe component? Also, does anyone have a plumbing/wiring/repair manual for the 89 Sunrader? Thanks
  11. I'm looking for the red plastic cover for the light on the upper right side of the exterior coach. Any ideas?
  12. My cruise light comes on but it doesn't "engage". All the vacuum lines seem to be attached so I'm thinking it's electronic. The fuse is ok. Any thoughts?
  13. Anybody know how often this needs to be done? where I can get a DIY on how to do it?

  15. Has anyone used the linoleum floor tiles with the adhesive backs for their rig flooring? If so, have they proved water tight or do they pull up easily after a few moppings?
