  1. You are the best, Linda. I’ve saved your posts. I’m just a little nervous about the white coating that’s peeling off — maybe a previous owner repair? It just seems to be a continuous layer over the entire tank — I can’t find any edge where it begins. Could it be something specific / necessary to worry about?
  2. Hey everyone! We just ran into a sudden holy-moly black tank leak from our 1986 Sunland Express. It looks like it’s been leaking for some time and just managed to get through some… layers? A previous repair? I am so not sure what I’m looking at, but I attached some pictures below. Any ideas? I’m thinking the tank is ABS because the pipes appear glued rather than clamped. I have several patch/repair options but am wondering if I need to replace the whole tank. Hoping not— or at least to buy a couple months before replacing! Tomorrow will be all about scrubbing and cleaning the leak to see what’s just gross dried sewage, but I would love some feedback / things to look for that might help point me in the right direction. Thank you!
  3. Hi everyone! We have a 1985 Sunland Express and have no need for the propane heater or the refrigerator. We are considering keeping the stove, for occasional use, but we would like to cap the other lines so we can remove the appliances at a date TBD. Should I just cap the lines at the appliance connection? Or should I be following the lines back and capping them closer to the source? Is there a better (safer) option?
