  1. Good find Linda that looks like it would work. I went with an MC Enterprises 161111MC Water Heater Valve for Suburban Appliances. There was one left on Amazon for $142. Make sure you get documentation your valve is for LP use not natural gas & correct inlet/outlet sizes. I asked my plumber about what the difference was he said "the difference is the pressure at which they operate it would be very dangerous to interchange them." The MC enterprise valve seems to be somewhat readily available and an appropriate replacement for the unicorn 91602. This website has 4 left if anyone needs one. https://parts.unitedrv.com/products/water-heater-pilot-gas-valve-for-suburban-161111mc
  2. I just called RobertShaw technical support, the gentleman told me that the red knob valve controls only work with natural gas not propane. He referred me to the RobertShaw 110-503 which seems to be just as hard to find as the 91602 because it's discontinued. I have to believe that there is a valid replacement out there that will work as far too many people would need a valve for this application. Back to the drawing board. I will keep the community posted on my findings.
  3. It's out of stock everywhere. I checked the sites recommended and no luck. My main concern with the replacement is the part that screws in to the water tank with the copper fitting (the back part) the length and diameter specifically. Fittings and adapters can be purchased for any other part, but if the copper (inlet I guess) is the wrong length or the diameter is off I would need to return. I found one on EBAY new old stock ending tomorrow, but someone bid it all the way up to $150 plus 23 shipping. I think I can get a red knob robertshaw to work, but was just curios if anyone had similar experiences. THANK YOU Ctgriffi & linda s good to be part of the community just joined
  4. Hi, I am trying to find a replacement gas valve for the water water heater in my recently purchased 1993 winnebago warrior. It will be a direct replacement for the Jade 91601 gas valve. Apparently the Atwood 91602 is the replacement, however, it has been discontinued and is very hard/expensive to find. RobertShaw took over production of these valves and I see several possible replacements, but not sure which one to go with. The one I want has blue knobs and is a guarantee plug & play (impossible to find/discontinued). I see several possible replacements from robertshaw with red knobs, but its hard to tell from pictures/vague information if this will plug & play replace the original Jade valve assembly. Anyone have experience or advice as to the most suitable replacement? Thanks, Ben+
