  1. Thanks,good site.Seems like a good price as well.I see you used the 55 Amp and Greg used the 45 Amp.What would be the advantage/disadvantage between them other than the power output.I will never run computers or things like that.Want to replace my battery boiler yet before the snow flies here.
  2. Question.Is the upgrade install fairly easy.Does a person just move a wire from old converter board to the new converter board and install in old converter opening?Or is there a little retrofiting that has to be done?Looked for a past thread on subject but none showed up.Thanks all.
  3. Look behind the driver seat,there maybe one there.At least on our 91 Dolphin there is one.
  4. Maybe you could make something out of PVC pipe with a screw in plug on one end and a cap on the other and attach to under side of rear bumper?
  5. Greg,correct.I ran mine fifty miles after I put on the new belts,came back home and snugged mine up.The A.C belt needed it the most
  6. My Dolphin has Firestone ride rite bags and with no extra weight in camper except two people 50 lb. in each side seems to give us the best ride.All ready to go away for a trip with tanks full and loaded down I run 70-75 lb.This is with 8 ply Cooper tires also.

Last weekend I started mine on l.p.around 3:00 in afternoon Put 3 frozen ice packs in lower part and left door shut.Next mourning around 8:00 I put thermometer in frezzer and cold food area.I had it set to max. cool.The frezzer read 0 degrees and I had 30 degress in cold food area,ice packs still hard.Seems ok but where do any of you folks keep yours set when in use?Like number 7?

That job is done! 3 new gates Xl belts.Piece of cake.Replaced the top bolt on alternator to get rid of the crappy bolt head that was in there.Also put on new A.C idler as it was only $16.00.Toyota wanted $43.00 But I can get parts at cost from local Parts Plus store so I Just changed it as long as I was down there anyway.

There ya go!Thanks guys.It was a little dark in the building I keep my Dolphin in late Sunday p.m and I just had time to look in from the top and with a flashlight the a.c belt looked to be down in the depth of He!!.This weekend will run it up on the ramps and follow your helpful tips.I know that the belts are the ones that came on it in 91.Its a wonder they have not exploded by now,even with only 39,000 on them.
  10. Tom W.Thanks for the reply, but I can see were each belt goes.I mean they have there own pully to line up to.My question was what is the best/easiest way to get the A.C compressor bolts loose to get the belt loose enough to take off?
  11. Would like to put new belts on in the near future.The fan and alternator belt looks like a peice of cake.But that A.C belt may be a tough one.Can you get to bolts better from below to loosen or from the top? Looks like it will be the last one off and the first one back onto me.
  12. Gas cap vent plugged?Or vapor locking fuel line,or maybe a weak fuel pump.Just ideas.When you find your problem I bet it will be a simple fix,god luck.
  13. All of those pop rivets on the trim is a sure tell tell sign that things were/are not good.Unless you want a project I would hold off on that one.
  14. Could you not take the old one to the parts store and ask them for a new dome light buld to match that old one?There are only one or two types of that type bulb.
