  1. Hi guys- loooking for a little assistance- I just realized that my 90' winnie does not have the inside plexiglass that goes on the two front windows on the bed area (over the cab). Wondering if anyone has some advice on how to go about replacing those things- Im hoping to be a little more insulated during cold nights. Thanks!! you know you guys are all great! Peace
  2. Thanks Henry I will get started then- I appreciate the help! Ill post pics once I get it painted. Peri
  3. Hi guys! its been awhile since ive been on here- glad you guys keep trekking though and helping each other out! Any tips on painting the inside of the rv? I have a 90' Warrior and the "pastel rainstorm" that im stuck in needs to clear up (meaning the wallpaper). I want to paint it just a base color and a friend of mine is going to come in and add a little art as well. Do i need to try and remove the wallpaper before we get started or should it be fine right on top, then add some bonus art and seal it up? Any tips? b4 after pics? Thanks again guys- Also, I have a fairly complete binder of manuals- The original manual for 1990 winnie I dont think is in there (only a general (class A) Winnabago one and a toyota truck one) but for furnaces, generators, AC units etc the guy was very... thorough.... anyways if your looking for something in particular just ask and Ill see if i have it. Just hope to put into the pot a little! (have you ever seen this move in Slow-mo on youtube? Search "high speed raspberry" warning:: its kind gross Peace, Peri
  4. When I take the shower head off it is still low pressure straight from the tube. Where is the diverter??? Could there be build up somewhere in the lines?? Thanks!
  5. It did start working but we still want to find out what needs to be replaced- I plugged back into house power then connected the house battery terminals and turned on the lights and left them on while disconnecting from house power- The lights remained on and the 12 volt system is now working- would love to know why I can't turn off house power and have 12v system work. If no energy is being drawn from the 12v system, it wont switch over, why?? Thank you thank you!
  6. My sink has better pressure than my shower... whats going on? Any advice? I don't think there has been any upgrades- Stock 1988 Winnabago toy. Thanks!!! Peri
  7. Thank you thank you!! I am having another issue that I posted up- but we did replace the isolator and the breaker and things are working better- .... thanks again! Peri
  8. Hi again, looking for a little more assistance--- okay here we go, I have replaced all 3 breakers next to the battery and both breaker and isolator in engine compartment. And then I plugged in to house power to test if it was charging while running the bathroom fan and light- I noticed that the light got brighter when I plugged in and turned on the circuit breaker, then to double check I unplugged house power and noticed the lights and all were running off the battery just fine. However I left the system on for an hour or so and came back- now with coach battery connected there is no power (except water pump and monitor)---- lights wont turn on, but when I plug back into house power the lights turn on fine... Any ideas??? Thank you!
  9. Yeah... thank you so much for the input moosepucky- BUT, we are not plugged in, the engine is not running, no solar panel yet and we don't have a generator.... and yet monitor and fan turn on.... Any other ideas? ... maybe I wasn't soo off with the ghost theory... thanks again-
  10. Hello, I am wondering if anybody knows where to find replacement trim for the outside back corners? The Trim that goes from the top of the motorhome down the sides to the bottom bumper... hope that is clear- I will try to add a photo- Thanks!!
  11. Hello all- I have been around and about this site and there is some great advice!! Thank you! And now I want to utilize this wonderful site because I just bought my toyota beater oh I mean motorhome- My lovely and I have been searching for a toyota motorhome for a year now and decided to settle on one we would fix up.... having a little buyers remorse- but the frame and roof is in great shape, as well as the engine- Okay anyways my question- when we bought the ride the monitor (to check water levels and such) worked great and it kept working great until one day it didn't work at all- so my handyman goes down there to check out the battery and there is no battery! So now we have a beater with a ghost. Well we get the battery, everything works great its just that the monitor and the fan in the bathroom work whenever they want to- they work when the battery is in and only sometimes when it is totally disconnected.... When I asked my RV parts store guys they of course gave us the old "joint to the mouth" jester- and asked about our THC intake prior to these experiences--- Baffled in Encinitas- Peri & Robbie 1988 Toyota Winnabago
