  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BARGMAN-30-84-530-84-Series-Recessed-Triple-Red-Horizontal-Tail-Light-w-/231011527502?pt=Motors_RV_Trailer_Camper_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35c95c2b4e&vxp=mtr#ht_3577wt_1172 Pretty sure this is your tail light. Word is that Bargman is out of business so I wouldn't wait to buy. Be carefull of that slant edge thing underneath them. You need to remount them on to it to have the proper angle for your lights. If you want to check if it's the correct light there should be a number on the inside of the lens. Take one off and look. Your looking for 84 series lights
  2. Yes has been done many times. No evidence of a safe 5 lug axle was ever found. The toyota-camper member who posted it was not a toyota expert and relayed some faulty information. That is all. Linda S
  3. I have 2 Sunraders and I don't think mine were a hack job. All window openings are smooth and correct measurement for the window. Cabinets are very flimsy but also very light because of it. I'm very happy with mine as a whole. Glad they didn't put in heavy cabinets and fittings. Like my mileage and handling. And yes I feel a little sick when I see people tearing them apart. I see so few of those ever become a useful motorhomes again. Everyone seems to get so far and then give up. Hello another gutted Sunrader shell instead of fun little camper Linda S
  4. This rig is a 4x4 conversion. The owner many years ago posted on the toyota -camper site and he posted his blog .He ran a hang gliding company or demonstration team. I don't remember exactly cause it was quite a while ago. I do remember the siding though. Odyssey's have Mesa pattern siding and this rig is wavy on the other side. Previous owner did extensive water damage repair. Odyssey never made a 4 cylinder 4x4 and their v6 4x4's had single tires Linda S
  5. I bought one of these doors for 5 bucks at Big Lots but never put it on my Sunrader. Flys were so bad this year I put it on my house. Works fantastic. Magnets click right back together and now I have to find another one for my Sunrader. So simple but so perfect Linda S
  6. We have pretty much agreed on the toyota camper site that the good 5 lug axle is a myth. That information was provided by a member of that group at that time and we have never found an example of that mystery axle in all these years since. Linda S
  7. Licensed dealers in most states are not even allowed to sell vehicles with open recalls not matter how long ago that recall was. Since I informed him he now has an obligation to disclose that to the buyer and the buyer can back out of the sale. Don't know if it will help the un-informed buyer but it can't hurt to try. Linda S
  8. I just called them and it is sold but still on the lot. I asked if the axle had been upgraded and he didn't think so.I told them that they were taking a big chance now cause they had been informed about the recall and if they didn't tell the new owner they could be sued for tons if anyone gets hurt. Sure hope the new owner finds one of our groups and get the scoop on the dangers Linda S
  9. That's a Four Seasons motorhome. Well made motorhomes, Slide out was only made for a couple of years and is very rare. Some have manual but some have electric slide-out. Ad doesn't mention whether the axle has been upgraded though. Most important thing to check on Linda S
  10. Well for starters get a tarp over it. Fixing damp joints and sealing in that water is not going to do you any good at all. Linda S
  11. Just took a look at this stuff and it looks perfect. Cheap too. Linda S
  12. Well plenty of people on the toyota-camper site have used garage door seal with excellent results. My girlfriend used it on the Nissan Sunrader that just sold on ebay for almost 14 grand and it did that because the finish was so perfect including that seal. Looks as close as you can get to original seal. You should have looked at the link I posted. look here very clean looking finish http://s46.photobucket.com/user/gfrasier/media/84%20Nissan%20Shorty%20Sunrader/DSC_0030.jpg.html?sort=6&o=10#/user/gfrasier/media/84%20Nissan%20Shorty%20Sunrader/DSC_0029.jpg.html?sort=6&o=9&_suid=13748534408150757596171633018 The only truck seal I could find was black. All these toyota motorhomes are white. Not good Linda S
  13. Nope. As long as it's behind the driver seat. I wouldn't take the chance of it being within reach of the driver though. Fridge is fine Linda
  14. Why is it wet? I have 2 Sunraders and no mold ever under the overhead bed. Linda S One of hem has a broken winow up there too that is covered with plastic and duck tape but no mold
  15. Garage door seal is the ticket but I think you still need the hose part in the cab over area http://www.simsupply.com/p-13795-white-grg-dor-weatherstrip.aspx?CAWELAID=1303323903&catargetid=1631451709&cadevice=c&cagpspn=pla&gclid=CJ-qiqX9y7gCFUfZQgodUTQAGg Linda S
  16. Very cool. I saw those little things but mine would not move.I will spray some teflon stuff on them and let then sit for a while. I already have some sceen stuff here. Linda S
  17. The very first motorhomes were based on the earlier truck camper which had the big door in the back. They are neat huh. They also has a huge bed in the overhead, queen size I think. You slept front to back not side to side Linda S
  18. I also know someone who has owned her 4x4 Sunrader for over 20 years. She has replaced the rear axle twice but never was able to find a full floater so ended up just going with the original type axle. She was just lucky that she was able to feel it going bad before it actually fell apart. I'm sure in the mean time the pressure difference will help but not a perfect fix Linda S
  19. There is some really nice looking corian for sale on craigslist in Missoula right now but you dont need it all and don't know if he would break up the lot. Can't hurt to ask http://missoula.craigslist.org/mat/3937036156.html This sheet in Whitefish too but don't know exactly where you are. This ones cheap http://kalispell.craigslist.org/mat/3896346780.html Linda S
  20. I have a piece of corian I'm am going to use to replace the counter top and table on my Tiger Provan. Was originally an island counter that the owners replaced with granite. Cost me 50 bucks. Love that where ever I cut the finish will be the same all the way through. Linda S
  21. Aluminum frame and no, tried pushing it all the way up. No give. I'll try again later today and see if I can figure it out. Have 2 Sunraders in my driveway so will try both Linda
  22. I went out to my Sunrader this morning to see if I could figure it out but no luck. Can't see for the life of me how they come out. When you figure it out I would love to know cause I could use some new screens too. I have a bad feeling that the only way they come out is when the window is out of the camper so the frame can flex some. Linda S
  23. The original Chinooks had garden hose between the cab and coach. I think that's what you just pulled out. No I'm not joking Linda S
  24. The older smooth sided Mini Cruiser's were made from compressed composite sheeting. From the pic you posted which does indeed look like a Mini Cruiser from the front striping and roof angle, I would say that composite sheeting was attached to a metal frame. RBR the manufacturer called it laminated construction http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-Toyota-RBR-Mini-Cruiser-RV-Motorhome-Brochure-wr2396-7PIE37-/290882033364 Linda S The owner of the toyota-camper site on yahoo used to have a diesel Mini cruiser. He repaired his roof with plywood and sealed it with fiberglass.
  25. Yes your propane pressure is a separate issue but if the flame was really high in the fridge it could have prematurely burnt out the cooling unit. As for the fridge the only fix now is to replace the cooling unit. They are available on ebay with complete instructions and changing them out is not all that hard. Best if you can find room inside the camper to do it cause getting the whole fridge out of your camper is difficult. Get that regulator changed out right away. Could be dangerous Linda S
