Where is it???? We just moved back to Illinois from Maine with Lucille and are down south near Carbondale. How fun!!!

Looking for a nice looking cover to fit our ‘91 Winnie Warrior - a nice neutral color that is fitted. We are 21’ long. Any suggestions? What do you guys use? We had been just using a tarp to cover in the winter months but it just looks kind of trashy. When I look online it seems the class c covers are for van fronts and would be too long for our yoda.

Well, the other day the original vent finally cracked and broke. I’m so glad it did! This new one is so much nicer. Nice reliable strong fan also. Yay!

We scored our ‘91 warrior in Southern California in 2017. Nice n dry... hooray for 1991 - it was our heyday back in the 90s and my husband and I always both saw and liked these as teens. I guess it’s vintage now but all I can see is that sweet sweet camper that seemed like it could be my salvation in the 90s when I was a teenager looking to move out ASAP. Haha and now we get to own one 30 years later but I think it’s so practical and radical and still our salvation to get away anytime!

You’ll likely never get the $ back of what you’ll spend on it but they sure are fun to own and fix up (as long as you aren’t living full time in it haha which we did for 2 years) - we have a 1991 Winnebago warrior V6 - rebuilt the whole engine (the 90-91 have a head gasket recall btw) and currently rehabbing the interior - each has her own pluses, minuses and quirks. Some people love the 22RE engine but we personally needed more power for our hefty traveling. When buying take into account that these buggers like to leak/be moist so look for any moisture in the back closet, seams, shower area etc as well as the overhead cabin and window. Low miles seem great but if the rv hasn’t been used enough then you will come across issues like rotten hoses and rusty parts etc from non-use so just be aware. We took out our heater bc it was so inefficient and use a portable ventless propane little buddy if it’s chilly. We also took out the water heater bc well it was heavy and inefficient too. Just built a box where the wanky uncomfortable sleigh arm used to be. We aren’t camping in the winter so for us personally it was a good decision. I suggest YouTube to see how some have modified theirs and use theirs for reference as well. Hope this helps!

Oh and no we didn’t rebuild the overhead cab...but we did work on that area with the window (not the best in engineering for light and durability) - we reinforced it and covered it for sound sleep and privacy.

Thanks! We have officially been here one year and we just love it. We are originally from northern Illinois, then Kauai, then Southern California as a home base as we travelled across the country 4 times back and forth. Maine is amazing! (Don’t tell anyone! Haha)

We lived in this baby for 25 months with our two small sons. Now that we are in a home we can finally rehab the interior. Took out the horrible sleigh arm finally and built a box over. Sanded and painted all cabinetry. New pulls and new mini blinds all around. It’s always a work in progress but since all our mechanicals and engine have been restored or replaced we are on to the cosmetic stuff. I need a sewing machine so I can make some new cushion covers. But will post any significant progress. Planning on a backsplash by the oven/sink. Perhaps a cool piece of wallpaper art on the slider door. Of course new curtains and rods for the upper bunk will be on the list too.

We aren’t even sure we really want to sell her. I just happened to peek on the site and saw Maine on the top post and threw it out there. We bought it for $9,000 and put over $20,000 into it over two years. I don’t really have an asking price as of yet but the right price and person could sway us to say goodbye.

Just moved to Maine from San Diego in our 1991 Warrior V6 - considering selling but it would have to be the right price. We have rebuilt the engine and done all engine work so it is like new as far as all of the mechanicals. Lets talk if you're interested. I'll attach a few photos of Lucille and our adventures.

We moved into our ‘91 Warrior 2 years ago when we left Kauai. We have lived in Encinitas in it for nearly 2 years all the while traveling to Disney World in Florida, Traverse City, Michigan and everywhere in between. This will be our final journey all the way across to finally settle in Maine. It’s been a hell of a ride with 4 engine rebuilds (the final one finally done correctly) and every other mechanical thing done to it. We bought sight unseen for $9000 in LA and have put about $20,000 into it. Insane! But we don’t ever want to sell it now. She is so amazing!!! Her name is Lucille. She’s a ball! While we got sneers in California we are getting nothing but thumbs up and love across the nation so far. Spending the night in Shamrock, Texas tonight and on to Missouri tomorrow! Aloha to all and safe travels!
Ps - in the Ariel pic she is up above on top right quadrant near the middle (where’s Waldo style!) she made the Encinitas Magazine!

Our little family moved from Kauai last October into a 1991 Winnebago Warrior! Her name is Lucille. Based in Chula Vista, CA but we are full time with our two boys ages 21 months and 3.5.
