	So, I am looking for an igniter for my furnace - original type with 2 wires.  My 1982 model is an NT12LE, and I bought a 525019 igniter off the Suburban website.  It's got the same two wires, the same bolt pattern on the mounting plate, and the same 3 prongs on the furnace side (2 igniter prongs, 1 temp probe prong).

</p>

<p>
	Has anyone else been able to find a source for these?  Mine works, but we plan remote trips and I want to carry a spare.  Thanks in advance.

	There is a leak somewhere above the black water tank and the restroom floor by the toilet not the shower but only when I turn on the water pump. It seems to me that it might be the water line from the pump to below the toilet floor. The floor inside the toilet floor gets all wet and water drips from behind the black water tank. I would think that I would need to remove the black water tank to get to the leak. If I'm right how can I do this with the least amount of damage? The restroom is at the rear of the vehicle.

	I'm a newbie with a 1985 Toyota Dolphin. The frig works, but no matter what thermostat setting (1, 4 or Max) it gets down to about 12 degree F overnight. After reading, I tried disconnecting the thermistor from the fins in the rear, but get the same result. Does anyone have experience with these older Dometic refrigerators (non-electronic)? Does this sound like a bum thermostat? Anything else I should try before purchasing a thermostat? If it is thermostat, should I have a regular repair place do the work or is a reasonable DIY project?

	Good Morning Campers!  I have a little drip drip drip and my water pump cycles on constantly.  It is just the faucet (cheap o plastic thing).  So, I will turn off the water and either just get a replacement gasket or maybe even replace the faucet since I have been wanting a taller neck.  My question is:  Do I turn off the water under the couch?  There is a shut off valve between the freshwater tank and the water pump.  Or do I need to shut off downline of the pump?  Also, that valve seems VERY stiff.  Do we think it is just overtightened?  Should I force it?  Thank you all!  Just a solo camping girl here trying to figure it out on my own.  You all have always been so helpful.  I appreciate you!

	As title indicates the original igniter for the fridge in my 93 Warrior cracked and no longer works on propane. It works on electric.
</p>

<p>
	I've taken it in to a reputable RV shop and they contacted Dometic and the igniter is no longer made. They tried an igniter that is supposed to work  but no joy.
</p>

<p>
	Contacted another shop and they also could not find an oem igniter.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Both shops said new replacement fridges were in $1k plus not including labor to install.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm now contemplating taking it out and using a 12v portable chest compressor fridge or compact home fridge using a separate lifepo4 battery, charge controller and inverter to power (I'm not sure how to change the whole original 12v inverter/converter to lithium). If I do the portable chest I could also use in my suv which would be a plus.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Has anyone replaced with either of these options? This guy converted a chest freezer to fridge which I thought was a cool idea <span><img alt=":P" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://toyotamotorhome.org/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_tongue.png" srcset="https://toyotamotorhome.org/forums/uploads/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" title=":P" width="20" />  </span>

<p>
	I have a Dometic RM2400 refrigerator that cools but not enough.  I had an RV guy replace the cooling unit but it still doesn't cool enough (even when on max).  The dial doesn't actually stop on max and I can just freely spin it so I don't know exactly when I hit max and when it "resets" to zero.  It have been running it on AC and haven't tried gas yet.

	I've been thinking hard lately about pulling the original Norcold 875EG2 out of my rig, replacing with a good mini fridge. The Norcold generally works but is WAY old, hard on the eyes, and BAD at maintaining a consistent temperature across day/night. Also, I already have an (efficient) inverter setup to supply the 110v for a standard mini fridge, and we just <em>never </em>use the existing unit on propane (moot point, for us).
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Couple thoughts and questions:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<ol>
	<li>
		Anybody done this recently and have thoughts/suggestions/regrets?
	</li>
	<li>
		The Norcold has about 4.5 cu.ft. capacity, is "built in" and fits snugly into the surrounding cabinetry, and is roughly 40" H x 23" W x 20" D.
	</li>
	<li>
		I haven't found anything that matches those ^ dimensions closely, especially in <em>height </em>since most are between 30-33" tall. So I either need to "wall-in" the additional space, or create some kind of cubbyhole storage area, below or above. Any opinions on this?
	</li>
	<li>
		Biggest Concern: should the original fridge outdoor access panel and roof vent be sealed and insulated... or left as-is?
	</li>
</ol>

	<div>
		Hi Everyone.
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		<div>
			I have a suburban NT-16 furnace in my 1988 Toyota Odyssey. Back in 2019 I was having issues where the fan would start, but the ignition sequence never happens. To resolve it back then I bought a replacement board from ebay like this one: <a href="https://www.ebay.com/itm/386313082243?mkcid=16&amp;mkevt=1&amp;mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&amp;ssspo=n-ju0w2ptyy&amp;sssrc=2047675&amp;ssuid=1-1GOiu-Twm&amp;widget_ver=artemis&amp;media=COPY" rel="external nofollow">https://www.ebay.com/itm/386313082243?mkcid=16&amp;mkevt=1&amp;mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&amp;ssspo=n-ju0w2ptyy&amp;sssrc=2047675&amp;ssuid=1-1GOiu-Twm&amp;widget_ver=artemis&amp;media=COPY</a>. It solved the issue for me at the time, but the issue has returned.
		</div>

		<div>

		</div>

		<div>
			I've done some troubleshooting steps including:
		</div>

		<div>
			-Test the propane supply by replacing the regulator
		</div>

		<div>
			-Bypass the propane plumbing by connecting the tank/regulator directly to the inlet on the heater
		</div>

		<div>
			-Test sail switch with continuity tester (good)
		</div>

		<div>
			-Test resistance over both propane valves (40-45 ohm, good)
		</div>

		<div>
			-Check for voltage to the control board (good)
		</div>

		<div>
			-Check for voltage at the propane valves 30+ seconds after fan start (no voltage)
		</div>

		<div>

		</div>

		<div>
			I think this isolates the problem to the board.
		</div>

		<div>

		</div>

		<div>
			Does anyone have experience with these? Are the newer boards unreliable? Should I buy another one or potentially a Dinosaur control board (<a href="https://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/UIB_S.htm" rel="external nofollow">https://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/UIB_S.htm</a>)? Should I bail on the whole thing and replace the whole furnace (either with another NT-16 or maybe something else???)?
		</div>

		<div>

		</div>

		<div>
			Thanks for being a great group.
		</div>

		<div>

		</div>

		<div>

		</div>

	I know this has probably been covered a few times and could be solved a couple different ways… but the drain valve on my fresh water tank recently broke internally (the pull-ring portion broke away, leaving no way to open/close). Obviously I’ve got the original polybutylene lines everywhere, and there’s not a ton of extra room to work with between the tank and the hole cutout in the floor, where the valve drains out. What’s the best/easiest way to fix? Replace this section with Pex? Cobble together something else entirely?
</p>

<p>
