  1. Very much obliged Greg. You made a lot of people happy including me. Thanks.
  2. ODYSSEY 4X4: Have you considered taking the AC loose and turning it around in order to get the most blowing toward the front?
  3. I may be wrong but it looks as if they have been cleaned out. Thank YOU for doing that whomever you be!!!!😁
  4. I was on the Yahoo group and Sunrader Bob was on it too This was in 1997. Yahoo group shut it down and then I found this one which was a right fit for me. Haven't posted a whole lot of stuff since I joined but I'm like FRED I go to this site every day and the SPAM is ridiculous !!!!!..I wish someone with authority could straighten it out. Thanks in ADVANCE. Homer
  5. I would thank anyone capable of getting rid of the spammers. It is so aggravating to see all that is on here taking space that someone could use.
  6. Our 86 does the same thing. Has from when we bought it. after 2 weeks forget it starting. I got a Knife Switch that fastens to the battery post and I have left it for 4-5 months and engaged the switch and it starts right off.
  7. Here is what I did for mine. It was deteriorated beyond repair. I found a scrap piece of thin aluminum and fashioned it to fit. Bought a piece of stained glass and siliconed it on back side so it wouldn't fall out and light up the door way. Yours may have a different measurements than this one but you can see how I did. It has one screw holding it on bottom center. Hope this may help someone
  8. CTGRIFFI: Nothing has been posted on TOYOTAMOTORHOME.ORG since the 20 of January. Has something happened to it or is it my desktop computer messing up?

    Thanks

  9. While the wife is inside holding the gas button in , I take the cover off to light and after it lights I slip the cover back on. This is the cheapest way I know of.

  11. Have you tried the big box stores like Home Depot or Lowes ? Better yet I found a neighbor that is a plumber and fixed mine. But it was a line of PB and had split He used a cutoff valve and fastened it to where the PB split. This was behind the commode and leaked and soaked the carpet and ran out in the hall and got carpet wet there. Took me a while to ever find it and had to rip up the carpet and box over the drain line. It was the cold water line to the shower. We never use the shower so I unhooked both the hot and cold lines. Hope this helps you or someone.
  12. Rob: See where you have put in laminate flooring, took off closet door, changed the jack knife sofa to a stand alone. I just raised mine up with a 4"X4" block of wood. Makes it much easier to get up out of it. Also built a ladder to get in and out of the over the cab bed. Picture shows a piece of wood at the top to put between bed and cab access. I was getting out and it broke sent me flying toward the windshield. Needless to say I cut a piece of bed rail metal and replaced the wood . Also ran the furnace T-STAT wire to a switch at head of bed to cut it on and off when it gets cold in the morning before I get out of bed (LAZY) but we don't use the furnace at night , just before we get up so it's not so cold getting up.
  13. here is what I constructed with a piece of aluminum for mine. Mine deteriorated to nearly nothing. I took measurement and put them on card stock then cut the template out and used the pliers to bend to shape so it fit the frame and drilled a hole and added stained glass instead of solid. The top is slightly tapered. If you are sort of a handyman you can make yourself one and save $$$ . I used silicon caulk to hold the glass in place on the inside of cover, Hope this helps.
  14. My switch quit working so I took it out by turning the nut counter clockwise and pulling it out and going to Lowe's Home improvement Center in the lighting department and bought a new one and installed it . Works good especially when you need it at night.
