1990 Toyota Dolphin Renovation

Recommended Posts

Please take a look at my camper renovation. It's located at the following address- http://rhinoplastycamper.blogspot.com/.

I figured it would be easier to send the link then to upload all the pictures all over again. Things I have done so far:

1) Ripped out all carpet, drapes, and upholstery

2) Fixed soft spot on floor

3) Removed storage space to build bench

4) Repainted all walls

5) Repainted cabinets and added new hardware

6) Re-carpeted overhead bed

7) Waterproofed using Eternabond

8) Built new eating bench

9) Laminate flooring

10) Sewed new mattress cover

11) Sewed new drapes

Things I still need to complete

1) Sew mattress cover for the other futon/bed

2) Sew cushion cover for bench

3) New lids for two vents

4) Redo bathroom and kitchen countertop

I have completed the upholstery on the mattress and cushion cover. The barrel chair seat cover and two drapes are all that remain with sewing. The pictures are updated on the blog.

Here's an update to the camper renovation. We took it to Pismo Beach this weekend, and it worked beautifully. Obviously, there are some things that need to be updated, but it was a successful trip.

I figured it would be easier to send the link then to upload all the pictures all over again. Things I have done so far:

1) Ripped out all carpet, drapes, and upholstery

2) Fixed soft spot on floor

3) Removed storage space to build bench

6) Re-carpeted overhead bed

7) Waterproofed using Eternabond

8) Built new eating bench

9) Laminate flooring

10) Sewed new mattress cover

11) Sewed new drapes

12) Sewed mattress cover for the other futon/bed

13) Sewed cushion cover for bench

14) New lids (Maxxair Vents) for two vent lids

15) Redid bathroom and kitchen countertop

16) Fixed Trailer Hitch and added Cargo Carrier

17) MOST IMPORTANTLY- CONFIRMED THAT THE FRIDGE WORKS!!!!!!!

Still to be done

1) Get a full inspection of the engine

2) Fix leek when flughing toilet

3) New plywood under pull out bed

4) Add "bag awning" when I can afford it

5) go...........

Most renovations can be seen at http://rhinoplastycamper.blogspot.com (no, that's not a spam site, regardless of the name) :)
