david rv  : (06 September 2010 - 12:22 PM) Just purchased a Dolphin 1988 35' motorhome. Being my first RV it appears to have several problems. I think maybe the gas tank has been changed and a couple modifications. Does anyone have this type of motorhome and if so in general do they seem to be good motorhome? Also looking for a manual. Oh yes, the AC doesn't work (the one you use while driving). I am a new RV'er. Any tips, etc will be greatly appreciated.

Lee6  : (03 September 2010 - 02:04 PM) I have considered changing out the automatic trans in my 1986 Toyota 22RE with a manual one. I found a 1982 five speed for $100.00 and could probably scavenge whatever else needed off the same truck. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

Ranger Rick  : (28 August 2010 - 11:11 PM) Love my SR. It's a 22' from 1982. Over the years the cabinets have caused the roof to sag a bit to the point that it creates a puddle on top. Anyone else had that problem, and if so is there something you have done that is a solution?
wyoming  : (23 August 2010 - 12:00 PM) Help. My 1986 dolphin seems to be trying to tell me something. The check engine light comes on, blinks 3 times and then goes out. This has happened 3 times in about one week. The fluid level in the radiator is okey. The motor is not running hot according to the guage. Any body know what is going on. Thanks. Charlene

But since I made the mistake, anyone know the best way to get into those RV cabinets with the hollow bottom? I'm speaking of the upper cabinets. I'd like to pull some audio wire through one... and need to know the construction so i know what size electrical boxes I can use... and where I can put them. TIA. :)
