vrocrider
Removed cab over wide window. New Filon from just below clearance lights down to crossover metal bar above cab. Anybody have experience with this type repair? Not sure in what order it's best to put back together. Plan to glue luan & curved foam piece on fiberglass then install. Any input welcomed. hunkaman
hey there, i am not sure if i understand your question, but IF i do, I have an opinion to offer. having to conform several layers of material to the contour of the cab over area, would best be accomplished by doing one layer of material at a time. each individual layer, (foam, luan.fiberglas sheet) will be more flexible if applied separately. if you "sandwich", the three materials before applying, it will be considerably stiffer, therefore more difficult to attach tightly to existing framework. good luck. joe from dover.
