markwilliam1
Planning a couple trips this year and was wondering how long the refrigerator will stay cold if I turn off the propane while driving? Won't be driving more than 8 hours or so. Many times the fridge burner blows out while driving and I'm not sure if that would cause a dangerous propane leak or not!
WME
If the flame goes out the thermocoupler is designed to shut off the gas flow. To increase the cool time , just freeze a couple of old qt milk bottles, they should refreeze each night. Blue ice works too but cost more. WME
To many variables, what inside, how much is inside, outside temp. One trick is to install some foam sheets on the outside of the refer for better insulation.
