Going to replace the wood in the overhang. Also, what to use to clean backing of fiberglass? Thanks. hunkaman Posted April 8, 2017 Share Posted April 8, 2017 there are many adhesive choices. really dependent upon application and materials you are bonding. some suggestions could be: heavy duty construction adhesive (liquid nails), gorilla glue, 2 part epoxy's, silicone adhesive, professional wood workers glue. for cleaning the fiberglass ? again, depending on what you are bonding the fiberglas to, if the bonding surface is smooth / shiny, you may want to "rough it up", maybe with a 3m scotch pad, or sand paper, to give the glue increased bonding strength. hope this helps. joe from dover.
