Chrissy
Well, he saw me coming. My mechanic friend just tore the front end apart and the brakes were non-existent. The rotors were pitted. No pads left, one caliper was frozen and even the little washer thingy that goes against the bearings is wack. Does any one know the proper word for these 2 things? There is one on each side pushing up against the bearings. Cant put the brakes back together without them and none of our auto parts stores can order them. Can anyone help? I don't even know the proper name so it's hard to search online for them. Help! Chrissy~ Edited October 27, 2016 by Chrissy spelling
linda s
Are you talking about this. Locks the bearing into place and you stick a cotter pin in it? http://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~cap~front~wheel~adjusting~lock~43525-22010.html?Make=Toyota&Model=Pickup&Year=1984&Submodel=&Filter=(d=USA;1=22R;3=T1;4=STD;5=MTM;6=4F;7=RCB;8=W;9=HVY;12=CBR;13=IV;0=RN55L-KRA3W)&Location=front-axle-hub,,43525 Linda S
WME
Inside to out. Bearing, thrust washer (washer with inner tab), nut, nut keeper, cotter key. All are common parts Edited October 27, 2016 by WME
