Mattyredd
Looking for some direction. I know in most vehicles you find that engineer parts are used in a number of different trucks and cars. I have a 76 Chinook and i'm looking for a heater core and possibly other parts. I would think Toyota may have used the same or some of the same engineer parts in the Chinook as they did in their trucks to save on production cost but i'm not sure. Can anybody help give me direction on where to turn?
Derek up North
Sorry, can't say I've noticed any (or much) mention of interchanges with other Toyotas. The only things that come to mind are the engine & transmissions being more or less the same as Celicas. For the heater core, have you talked to any old-school radiator shop that might be able to recore what you already have? And for junkyard parts, check out www.car-part.com. Mattyredd
Thanks for the replies. When i search Car-parts.com i didn't see the Chinook, was that search based on the Celica?
