hunkaman
hello. please excuse my ignorance, are you saying the 1000 watt inverter obtains power from the 12 volt coach battery and then powers the microwave ? if i have described this correctly, does this process not drain the coach battery severely ? thank you in advance for educating me. joe from dover
WME
Your basic description is correct. How does 100 amps at 12v sound??
Nickyd
Is the inverter Hooked up to some sort of house battery so you're not draining while parked

davidtan
Yup...hooked up straight to house..i just got tired of pulling out the generator to warm up leftovers or turning on the oven...I tried it for 3 minutes on high , seemed to work fine. I think any longer and you would have to run the engine. I have a solar panel on top that charges the house but i think its broken ( it came with the rv).. Maybe worth checking to see how much to replace..fun times.
bicoastal eric
Solar panels usually don't really break, maybe disconnected? I like your gang box setup, looks good. Personally I just put the left overs in a skillet for a few minutes.
