LED Headlight Success Stories?

I've been doing research to find the best route to go in relation to swapping out my current headlights for an LED alternative. For the most part, people have recounted horror stories. Does anyone have any suggestions/personal success stories regarding LED headlights?

I have a 1984 18ft. Sunrader.

No experience but I question what the advantage would be.  The original are not what you call piercingly bright, I get that.  There were some questionable adapter lenses that use a more modern quartz lamp but reviews were all over the place.  I found just changing them out every few years or so helped as they dim over time.  What are the chances of getting something well engineered for a shrinking market such as these old lamp styles would be?

At this time your best bet is a set of H-4 conversions AND a set of proper driving lights. Quality counts a bunch stick to good stuff and avoid the W-Mart stuff.

These guys have bang for the buck stuff and very best. http://classicgarage.com/

Led head lamps lack a lot some of the very expensive cars/trucks got very poor ratings. If you want a lot of light E spec replacement lamps using H4 bulbs. http://www.rallylights.com/hella-165mm-rectangular-ece-hi-lo-h4-conversion-headlamp-kit-h6545.html and these, they are DOT legal bulbs but if you try you can find off road H4's with higher wattage. http://www.rallylights.com/h4-9003-hb2-philips-x-treme-vision-xenon-100-bulbs-pair.html. I had this set up in my 97 Tacoma with 100 watt bulbs and if you want light this is it.

even the stock seal beams are not all created the same . the cheap low price ones have a 35 watt low beam and 55 watt high beam. I run the xtravision heavy duty reinforced                         element type .the  low beam is 55 watts and the high beam is 65 watts. and they are way way better .

I have been real happy with these HID lights in 55 watt 5000K, you have to get lampholders for the bulbs at extra cost, these are vivid !!!
I have them on my motorcycle (off road gets beat to death), toyota pickup & Sunrader MH

look for the H4 (high low beam) bulb (extra $20) in 55 watt (extra $10) in 5000 K (pure White) then ask the staff for the sealed beam replacement holders, i think they were $20 each, about $110 or so total package. They don't go dull with time, they will take off road pounding for years on my dirt bike, and they bring my 65 year old eyes back to about when I was 40.
