LotsaKidz
I have a Dometic RM461 fridge, and the plastic of the spring housings has broken. Can anyone advise me where is the best place to find parts to repair it? I watched a video on replacing them and it seems simple, I just don't know where is the best place to order replacement parts like that so that I can be sure they are the right ones for this model. LotsaKidz
Anyone? Where would you go to buy a replacement part for your fridge?
jjrbus
I have not had to buy parts, I would type Dometic RM461 parts in Google and hope for the best. Jim
linda s
I replied to her privately after no one else stepped in. The best place to find parts for older RV appliances is PPL RV parts in Texas. They have an astounding selection of parts for stuff that hasn't been made in years. jjrbus
Actually I would probably PM Linda before I googled it
DanAatTheCape
the springs in my door latch broke. since mine was under warranty I called the mfg who sent me 2 more. bought that fridge in 2010 from ppl. Got the replacement springs a year or 2 later. on the 2nd one now. the problem on my frig is that when one open the door, they are stressing the springs - which are pretty wimpy.
