guitarlover519
Does anyone have any info about the load capacity of the 1978 chinook? I am going to look at one tomorrow morning to possibly purchase. It has the regular single tire rear end without the fake dually. So it's a 1/2 ton axle? The camper is completely stripped inside, so my question is what would be my safe weight capacity inside for people and my furniture. WME
The max weight around 4250lbs. What does the Chinook weigh empty? Do the math and you have the answer.
zero
Max total weight capacity for a 1978 is 4600 lbs. Max weight on front axle is 1850 lbs. and max weight on rear axle is 2900 lbs. A Chinook with no people or cargo in it weighs 3500 lbs. IF nothing has been added.
