18' Sunrader

I have been wondering why you seem to keep missing them. I live very close in San Jose and there have been a few for sale on craigslist in the past few months. Have you looked at the sale section here. Very nice one posted in southern Cal. Is it that the ones near us were not quite as nice as you would like. I pretty much stick with craigslist but if you don't see any really close expand the search. I flew to New York to pick up my Nissan Sunrader. You can also try Adhuntr

Try typing Sunrader different ways. Sunraider is common. Check eBay often and be prepared to pay for what you get. My girlfriend just sold her 87 shorty for 12 grand and she could have gotten more. Here's an 85 in southern Cal

Oh and when I started looking for a Sunrader it took me 2 years to find the one I wanted. It's not like you have your choice of thousands and the people who buy them usually keep them

Thanks.  Yes I check Craigslist on a regular basis.  I'm looking for one $5k and under since I will be changing out the frame and drivetrain.

where about in the Bay Area are you?

the Nissan one looks nice and the guy actually emailed me about it.  Would be perfect but I want the Toyota.

If your putting the coach on a different frame what does it matter what truck it's on now. The 18 ft Sunrader coach is the same on the Nissan as the Toyota. I'm on the Los Gatos-San Jose boarder right now but only for a few more weeks. Bought a house in Eureka and almost done moving. Friend of mine who also owns a Sunrader up in Eureka met another guy who is completely remodeling an 84 Sunrader and converting it to 4x4. Haven't gotten a chance to see it yet but I will. Gutted the interior and is having all new rebuilt there too.

I'm using just the toyota 4x4 frame and swap the cab and coach over so I want the toyota cab.  Unless I can get a new toyota with a 3.4l then I'll just swap the coach.

Post some pics of his conversation when you see it and good lunch with the move.  Eureka is beautiful.
