5Toyota
these units are old time not frostless. you need to shut down and defrost at intervals. the home kitchen unit we had growing up was a manual defrost. my home deep freeze I empty and defrost once a year. I am older then the frost free era. I don't know if any rv units are auto frostless.
DanAatTheCape
manual defrosting is required. If the door seal is defective it will happen quicker. If the seal is good the door will have resistance when opened. Also check the drip tray. T And most of all - keep the door closed. Many many people have a habit of opening the frig door and leaving it open while they fetch use & return items.
