jerseyshorejay Posted September 15, 2007 Share Posted September 15, 2007 I got really supped up on the 21' dolphin a four for better mpg , am looking at a 6 cy for sale though and am wondering gas diff it is an 89 dolphin also the engine air dosent work if anyone ever had probs with this im going to check out the sunrader for myself, jus read in a post that it "seems to be the preffered model" just found this site and figured why not just pose the question Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bufbooth Posted September 16, 2007 Share Posted September 16, 2007 I think you are going to find that there is not much difference on the MPG between the 4 cylinder and the 6 cylinder, they both get about 15 to 18 mpg, it all depends on your cruising speed. Speaking of crusing speed, the 6 cylinder should give you about an extra 10mph crusing speed over the 4 cylinder, expect a solid 65mph from the 6 cylinder, it basicallys comes down to 105hp/110hp (4 cyl) vs 150hp (6 cyl).
